Today in the studio we were joined by Scott Lambshed and Jules Truluck
who have started a community project called Makerspace. It is a place where people of any age and gender can collaborate and socialise while persuing common interest such as arts, technology, science etc. So if any listeners out there would like to join in , email scott on www.egmakerspace.org for futher information.

Today in the studio we welcomed Mr Tony Power. Tony is a well respected sculptor and artist who lives and works out of his home in Glenaladale.
Tony was able to tell us all about the Sculpture trail which is currently running in Stratford to help celebrate the annual Shakespere Festival.

Today in the studio, we welcomed our good friend Troy Cassar Daly. Troy was on tour in our area and wanted to come back and play some music for us again. Troy then played at the Bairnsdale RSL to a very appreciative crowd. Thanks Troy for a wonderful interview and we look forward to seeing you again.

Today we interviewed 3 lovely ladies from the local Curves Gym. They were able to tell us about the benefits of exercising in a happy , supportive,environment. Curves was created to help woman feel comfortable about attending a gym and is designed to meet the time constraints most women have when trying to find time for themselves.

Today in the Studio we welcome Eileen thrugood. Eileen is the Director of the East Gippsland Art Gallery situated in Nicholson Street beside the court house. Eilleen told us about the Scarecrow Trail which is currently running in our district. The local public are invited to register and paticipate and the over all most popular scarecrow will be named.
Eileen also spoke about other exhibitions that are running. If the listeners out there have some spare time, a visit to our local gallery is well worth while.

Today in the studio we continued our interviews of our Yackety Yak team members. Hopefully, this will give our listeners a bit of an insight into who makes up our wonderful team here.

On today's Show we decided to interview some of our radio personalities here on Yackety Yak. We interviewed Sam, Andrew, Jacinta and Shelly. We all enjoyed learning more about each other and hope the listeners did too and we will continue this next week with other members of our team.

Today in the studio we interviewed Jamie Curtis. Jamie is a member of the local band " The Long Horns". Jamie is the lead vocalist and plays guitar.
The band plays at many different venues and if the listeners out there have an opportunity to go along and listen, you will have a great night.

Today in the studio we interviewed Mr Graham Clark. Graham is the owner of the miniture railway park in Eagle Point. Graham has many people come to his park throughout the year and children in particular, love to ride the trains. The park is a wonderful safe environment for families to enjoy.

Today in the studio, We welcomed Pia to the program while Sharon was away at Having A Say Conference.

Today in the studio, we were lucky to have 2 visitors. Firstly, we welcomed Hannah Bradsworth who is an old friend of Noweyung's. Hannah came by to to let us know what has been happening in her life lately. Also we interviwed
a local young band named Captain Custard who are a group of mates from the Secondary College. They play locally and in festivals and are writing and recording their own music.

On todays show we spoke about things that had happened over the
holiday period and played some fantastic music

Today in the studio we welcomed Ms Donna Moraz who works at the East Gippsland Shire as the Rural Access Office and Ruth Fitzclarence who also works at the East Gippsland shire where she is involved with Grants department. Both spoke to us about International Day of disability which is celebrating in the Bairnsdale Mall on Friday 2nd of December, 2012.
A variety of organisations are involved and will offer information,help and advice.

This week we interviewed Sharon Hyatt who is an instructor here at Noweyung. Sharon is also involved with the East Gippsland Mother Christmas
Appeal. Sharon told us about the work the appeal does and how other people can become involved. We talked about what things are happening at Noweyung and enjoyed playing some great music.

This week one of our old friends popped in to tell us all about what she has been up to for the last year or so. Charlotte McShane is a Professional Triathlete from Bairnsdale who has been travelling the world it was great to see her again. We played great music and talked about what is going on around Noweyung.
